KarachiXpress began in 2020 as a small cloud kitchen — no dining room, no signage, just a handful of cooks and a commitment to cooking Pakistani food exactly the way it’s made back home.
Word spread fast. Within months, demand outgrew the kitchen, and by December 2020 we opened our first full restaurant in Etobicoke. Five years and five locations later, the recipes haven’t changed at all.

From One Cloud Kitchen to Five Locations
It Started as a Cloud Kitchen
Right after COVID hit, KarachiXpress launched as a delivery-only cloud kitchen — no storefront, no seating. Just authentic Karachi recipes cooked to order and sent straight to customers' doors across the GTA.
Our First Restaurant Opens in Etobicoke
Demand outgrew the kitchen within months. In December 2020 we opened our first bricks-and-mortar restaurant at 133 The West Mall — the location that would go on to earn thousands of Google reviews.
Scarborough Joins the Family
Our second location opened on Lebovic Avenue in June 2022, bringing the same charcoal grill, the same daigi biryani and the same spice levels to Scarborough.
KX On the Go Launches at Ridgeway Plaza
A dedicated takeout-only format built for speed — the same full menu, designed for customers who want to grab and go.
Mississauga Opens Its Doors
Our fourth location arrived on Mississauga Road in July 2025, with a larger dining room and our most refined interior yet.
Five Years, Five Locations — Ajax
Exactly five years after our first restaurant opened, we launched in Ajax, extending KarachiXpress into the Durham region.
